Development Projects on the Karelian Gold Line
The Karelian Gold Line Offers Significant Potential
Endomines is developing the Karelian Gold Line in Ilomantsi, Eastern Finland. This approximately 40 kilometre long greenstone belt is one of Finland’s most significant gold potential areas and can geologically be compared to many of the world’s best known gold belts.
Active exploration has revealed several gold deposits in the area. At the same time, studies have shown occurrences of critical minerals, such as tungsten, as well as industrially important molybdenum.
Endomines is developing the Karelian Gold Line step by step towards future production while simultaneously increasing the known mineral resources of the area.
Development Projects in the South and the North
Our development efforts focus on two main areas:
Southern Gold Line
- Kuittila, Korvilansuo, Ukkolanvaara and Muurinsuo
The goal is to proceed to production in the area around 2030. Current activities include exploration, environmental impact assessment (EIA), as well as permitting and zoning processes.
Northern Gold Line
- Kartitsa
Drilling in the Kartitsa area has identified high grade gold mineralisation. Our plan is to study the area on a larger scale and increase its gold resources. Development of the Northern Gold Line is scheduled to progress after the Southern Gold Line.
Southern Gold Line
The Southern Gold Line is Endomines’ key development project on the Karelian Gold Line. The environmental impact assessment (EIA) is currently underway in the project.

Northern Gold Line
Kartitsa is the key research target on the Northern Gold Line. Studies evaluate the production potential of the gold deposits discovered in the area.
