Purpose of processing personal data: 

Fulfillment of employer’s obligations related to employment relationships.

Data content of the register:

The following data related to the management of employment relationships have been collected in the register:

  • Employee’s personal data
  • Address and other contact information
  • Bank details
  • Tax number
  • Degree and education information
  • Curriculum vitae (CV) 

Other data required for the management of employment relationships.

Legal bases for processing personal data: 

The employer has the right to collect the employees’ personal data for the purpose of fulfilling statutory obligations related to employment relationships (Act on the Protection of Privacy in Working Life 759/2004; Personal Data Act 423/1999).

Regular data sources: 

The data is provided by the employees themselves.

Transfer of data outside the EU or EEA:

 The data will not be disclosed outside the EU or EEA.

Description of the register’s data protection principles:

The data is mainly viewed and processed in electronic form. Access to the storage location of the data is restricted and based on personal usernames and passwords of those who have been granted the right of access. Employment relationship data in paper format is stored and disposed of securely in a locked office in a locked filing cabinet. 

Rights of the data subject related to the processing of personal data 

Data subject’s right to inspection:

The data subject has the right to request access to the register data concerning them.

Right of the data subject to rectification, erasure or restriction of processing: 

The data subject has the right to request the rectification, erasure or restriction of processing of the data concerning them.

Other rights related to the processing of personal data: 

The data subject has the right to obtain their personal data which they have provided the controller with and the right to transfer such data to another data controller without hindrance from the data controller with whom the data subject initially provided the data.

DATA COLLECTED IN CONNECTION WITH RECRUITMENT

In connection with recruitment, applicants’ applications and CVs are saved in the HR partner’s e-mail. The data will be stored for 12 months after recruitment, unless the applicant requests otherwise.
