Johan­na Oiva started as Resource and Produc­tion Geolo­gist at Endomi­nes

Johanna joined Endomines on October 4th as a Resource and Production Geologist at our Pampalo mines. Prior to this, Johanna worked for several years at the Kittilä gold mine as a Mining Geologist and Resource Geologist. She has also worked in Sodankylä on the Sakatti project.

Johanna’s educational background is an MSc in Geology and Mineralogy from the University of Oulu, from where she graduated in June 2017. Her work at Endomines includes updating the ore models/wireframes and preparing production drilling plans as a Resource Geologist, and as a Production Geologist, her work includes underground mapping.

“I was looking forward to moving to Joensuu and starting my new job at Endomines. My Finnish Lapphund Bamse moved here with me,” says Johanna.
